Wednesday = "Need some inspiration"-Day

One thing that I've always had love for (even before the increased popularity on these cars) was the old school Porsches, specifically the 964 generation. RWB (RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF) is a known shop in Japan that's been in business for over 15 years. They are going to open an US location soon, so I am definitely looking forward to seeing their presence in the bay area.

2011 USA Pro Cycling Challenge Prologue

The 2011 USA Pro Cycling Challenge Prologue went underway today with a fast-paced individual time-trial. BMC-Racing's very own Brent Bookwalter took 3rd place for a great start of what looks to be a promising tour for BMC-Racing.

George Hincapie finished sixth, Evans finished ninth, and Jeff Louder was 12th. We look forward to seeing the success of this promising team.

Something different: RWB from Japan

I've always been a lover of the old-school Porsche. I first learned about RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB) back in 2006 and since then, I've been in love with his work. Here's a great interview from my friends over at Fatlace with Nakai from RWB.

Garmin lovers: power meter finally available!

More great news continues to trickle out as we get closer to the 2011 Interbike (Sept. 13-16) and this is a great one from Garmin. They are now releasing their own version of pedal-based power measurement system.

These babies will not be out till March of 2012, sources say, and with a rumored price tag of $1499 for pedals and transmitter, this will be a hard power meter to beat. Here are videos from Garmin explaining a bit of how the system is great training tool.

Ken Block at it again...

This is a great video (as usual from Ken Block and his sponsors), but what was found interesting while watching this was how many different Hollywood hits were incorporated into this whole video.

Such a great concept to do something like this. I'd be curious what type of videos they would make with bikes.

Shimano Ultegra Di2 Review by Bikerumor.com

Since we're not a news media company, we weren't able to participate in Shimano's Press demo on the new Ultegra Di2. However, this review by bikerumor.com is thorough enough to get a great idea on the new Ultegra Di2 system.
